Case Study: Card-level Personalization in Kazakhstan

In Kazakhstan, Visa recently introduced a benefits personalization program in partnership with Bank CenterCredit (BCC), offering unique perks tailored to each cardholder—even when they hold the same product. This was made possible by utilizing the new Visa Benefits Management Platform, designed to deliver speed, simplicity, and precision. The platform further enables issuers to configure and avail benefits according to spending thresholds and to offer personalized rewards at individual cardholder level.

Visa's additional packages for Infinite cardholders allowed BCC to offer tailored benefits to high-value, cross-product customers, with BCC identifying relevant segments for enrollment on quarterly basis.

This scalable solution is powered by a flexible, easy-to-implement data exchange with Visa, which is adaptable to various technical requirements: Issuers can choose from secure file uploads via Visa’s online interface, automated transfers using Secure File Transfer Protocol (SFTP), or real-time exchanges through Application Programming Interfaces (APIs).

BCC reported significant results from the collaboration. In addition to real-time benefits to consumers that meet their needs, BCC saw key business metrics doubling and an increase in customer loyalty to both the bank and the Visa Infinite card. BCC plans to expand this technology to more client segments soon.
